Description: Students form groups of 2-4 players. Each group is divided around a mat. Tumbling mats are used as tennis nets. The students volley the tennis ball over the folded mat. The ball is always hit in a control manner, never taking a full swing. During the volley, the ball can be hit more than once and the ball can bounce as many times as needed. Once the ball is hit out of control or if the rolls, it is considered a dead play. The game then begins with a bounce serve. |
