Description: Powerball is a whole class activity. It is interdisciplinary in nature. Letters and numbers are printed on 75 foam coated balls. Players race to collect balls to combine them into words or a consecutive number row. Math and spelling skills. |

Description: A set number of students run from one side of the gym to the other and choose a colored ball from a hula-hoop and proceed to roll the ball from a designated line and make it into the target (milk crate). The winning student stays while the teacher chooses other students to dethrone the champ. |

Description: Students are divided into two equal teams. Students must make their designated colored ball from a set of spots on the gym floor. Once a student makes it from a spot they pick up the spot and the ball, and return it to their team>s hula-hoop. Once all spots are gone the game is over. |

Description: Students are paired up with a partner. One partner starts in the center (the Pit) the other begins on the perimeter (the racetrack). Five or six activities are set up in the center (the Pit). One partner begins in the center performing flexibility or strength exercise, while the other partner is going around the perimeter performing any locomotor movement. Intervals of 30 seconds of music with 10 seconds of silence can be used to signal role change. The student running the racetrack now goes to the pit and vice versa. |

Description: All students start with a foam dice. The teacher will let the students know what locomotor will be called if an odd number is rolled or if an even number is rolled. For example, all even numbers can be walking and all odd numbers can be running. After a couple of rolls, change the locomotor movements. For example, gallop for even numbers, skip for odd numbers. |
