Sport Stacking Pairs Floor Relay Posted by: Michael Wessner
Description: This is a relay where pairs of students link arms and use 1 hand each to upstack cups that they come to on the floor. When the reach the end of the gym, they must touch the cone and go back the way they came. On the way back, they must downstack the cups. |

Description: Here is a great exercise for strength conditioning. Students are pulling themselves with a rope across the gym on scooters. Sometimes their are 3-4 students attached together. Loads of fun. Don Glover is the instructor. |

Description: Powerball is a whole class activity. It is interdisciplinary in nature. Letters and numbers are printed on 75 foam coated balls. Players race to collect balls to combine them into words or a consecutive number row. Math and spelling skills. |

Description: A set number of students run from one side of the gym to the other and choose a colored ball from a hula-hoop and proceed to roll the ball from a designated line and make it into the target (milk crate). The winning student stays while the teacher chooses other students to dethrone the champ. |

Description: Divide the class into two equal teams with the same number of Speed Stacks on each side of the play area. The play area is divided into two areas. Half of the team on each side will be designated the builders (people who up stack their cups) and the other group will be the runners (people who will take stacks from the other team's side). Once the runner gets a stack from the other side, he/she will give to the builders on his/her side to up stack. Switch roles after 45 seconds. |
