I just graduated college with a degree in Health and PE. I had a phone interview yesterday which went very well and she asked me to come in Monday morning to do a demo lesson for a 7th grade class. I am so nervous!!! I know NOTHING about the school. I don't know how many students, what equipment there is, how large of a space I have, etc. I want to do something with fitness... maybe stations? That way all the kids are moving at once? But I don't know. I need help!!! :)

Well, first do you know if you are teaching a lesson to actual students? If so what equipment do they have? Or do they just ant you to do a lesson on paper? Or are the teachers your students?

If your going to do stations, remember a good warm up, explain each station on how to do it, what muscle is being worked, a cool down and debrief!! Dont make the stations to complicated and add music!!

Also a teambuilding activity would be nice if you didnt do fitness!!

Heres what I would do, I would play a fitness tag game. Heres how it works. There are four taggers with some type of equipment that they tag the others with. Each piece of equipment represents a fitness component (muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, and flexibility). If you are tagged with cardiorespiratory endurance you go to the designated station and do either running in place for x amount of seconds or jump rope (or any activity that would improve their cardio respiratory endurance). And so on, Very simple after explaining the stations. During the activity, make sure to switch the taggers often and also about half way through the activity I would stop and have the students rest (because they will be tired) and talk about which muscles are being used and also why they are doing each exercise for each fitness component). At the end of the lesson remember to have closure of the objectives. Music is always a plus!
