I wish I was! I just took a new teaching position-that of teaching PE and Health to Kindergarten students- I have been a regular Kindergarten classroom teacher for 27 years! The first curriculum I came upon was SPARKS- I like it as did my principal but I was told that our district would not order a curriculum or supplies for my class- I was told we would have to "scavage" for supplies from other PE classes in the district and teach to the new district guidelines for PE. Fabulous. I have spent a good part of my career creating curriculum-what else is new! I am still going to find a way to use the curriculum - borrowing from other teachers I guess! If you look on the web site for WVU University, there is a web link for the SPARK curriculum. I have actually helped put some of it together and have even piloted some of it in my schools. It is an awesome program to use. However, I do find that sometimes you need to add new curriculum to go with it.
