I believe we have the GREATEST job in the world. I love what I do and let that shine through my teaching. Status, funding and power are no concerns of mine - we are here for the kids, not ourselves. My students learn sound physical skills and, most importantly, how to play and love life.
I love new and out-of-the ordinary games. Creativity is the most important attribute of our job, and if all we do is fight to be treated the same as classroom teachers, we will lose that. We are role models, we teach LIFE skills.
Don't resent the "roll the balls out" PE teacher...resent the people who taught and hired them. They are the real problem.
