The Maze

Thank you for your rating!

This is an activity we use during our team building unit. Equipment needs are poly-spots, a noisemaker and maps for the maze. One member is determined the leader and the rest try to navigate there way through the map. Once the team successfully completes the maze, a new leader starts the second maze. This rotation continues until all maps are completed.

I haven't seen this one before and now I want to try it! While I was watching it I was trying to figure out a way to add more fitness to it and Deb I really like your idea of activity cards! Thanks everyone!

Did this activity with 3rd - 8th grades. They all loved it! I made the mazes easier for the younger students, and a little more challenging for the older ones.

I also play this but on a much larger scale. I put out about 100 different spots using hula hoops, poly spots and stars. I split the class into two teams and the teams make up their own maze to challenge the other team. I place activity cards under the spots so if they make a wrong step the entire team must do the activity. (jumping jacks, puch-ups, sit-ups..etc.)

This is similiar to my Number Memory Game. I do several variations of this activity. Good idea.
