How do the kids get back in once their pin is down?

On the sideline, at about the midcourt line, the kids were lined up behind some blue step boxes. When a pin goes down, the first person in line comes back in. The line usually moves fairly quick - about 30 seconds to a minute to get back in the game. At about the 1:30 mark of the video, there is a quick glipse of a student coming in from the line.

Thank you! I saw that but wanted to make sure. I plan on using it as a warm up game to our soccer unit in MS PE. Thanks for sharing.

We started calling this game "Pins on the Ground" (after "Pants on the Ground). Great game for larger classes and very little down time.

Great Game. I also added a rule that if you touch the ball with your hands your out. Also, the second game we played I had a jar of popsicle sticks and if they hit a pin they earned one stick. This added competition and also created more open pins to knock down since they had to leave the pin to go get the stick. Thanks, the kids loved it.

Thanks for the game! I play a game called Hector the Protector which is the same but they can throw or roll balls at pins ! NEver thought about kicking! Instead of waiting to come in(i know line moves fast) i have kids pick up their pins and run 1 lap around the gym and then they can re-enter!

My kids absolutely love this game! Where did you get the pins that you use. We only have plastic bowling pins.

The pins were left over from our laminator. Unfortunately, when we got a new model the cardboard tubes were too small to use as pins.

Thanks for sharing this game! Just played it with my 3rd-5th graders and they LOVED it! I used regular bowling pins and they worked fine.
