Activity with three teams. One team is downstacking cups while other two are upstacking. Each team gets a turn downstacking to see who can have the most stacks downstacked at the end of the time limt.

Very fun! I love cup stacking, I wish I had more than 3 sets so I could give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

Shannon, I started with just 3 sets also and then wrote a grant for the class set. It was only $399.00 for 30 sets! I think they are well worth the investment as you can use them for many different skills in the curriculum.

Hi I like your idea of having two groups of up stackers and one group of down stakers. I played it with just two teams and the down stackers were too fast. I like how you've modified the game. Thanks!

Great Warm up game...Could you do this for an 30 or 40 min class?

I've never done it for the entire class period, but often I'll go two rounds with each group...takes about 15 minutes. Then we'll do either individual stacking or relays to finish the class.

Thanks Kathy! I'll have to look into finding a grant.
