Agadoo is one of the best children's dances out there. Don Glover's favorite as you can tell. "Push pinapple, shake the tree". K-6 students constantly ask for a repeat of this activity.

I do this song too. A little different but mostly the same. It's great. One thing I noticed that I had to correct myself... You should be stepping to the right when the song says "to the left" since the kids are copying you and facing you. They are all stepping the opposite of what the song says. I only say this because at that age the kids are trying to learn their left from their right. Great song though i use this K-5. By the end of the unit I can't wait to be done listening to that song. :)

Where do I get the music for this dance? Is it on a specific CD?

I have been doing this with my k-2 classes this week! Oh how fun! They are having a blast. I got my song off of Itunes. Just type in Agadoo. I had to search for the lyrics because I couldn't tell what they were doing on the "grind coffee" part until I knew the words. Very little learning needed. I just tell them to do what I do! Thanks for sharing this great warm-up dance! I LOVE this website!
