This is a great resource for bad weather days (k-5) when you are in the classroom. Materials: flash cards

These kids are probably praying for rainy weather just to get more opportunities to play this game! You can see in the kids faces and actions how much they enjoy this activity. Very creative!

Florida is definately a state where you can't always be outside due to extreme heat or rain. This is a great way to keep the children active and safe indoors. Excellent idea!

This is such a good idea! I love how the kids put on the pressure by staring!

So FuN! I love the "stare with intensity"... that cracks me up! I'll be sure to give it a try. Oh and kiddos for your students being so well behaved.

My gym will be taken over for a fundraiser, and it suppose to rain outside, I am going to do this tomorrow. Thanks.

Did this in the classroom today with 1st and 2nd grade, they loved it. What are some good actions to add? Looking for out of the ordinary ones like chicken dance.

Just played with 3rd and Kindergarten and both really had a fun time. I found it was a cool idea to come prepared with some fitness activities, but have the kids come up with some on their own and write them down on cards for 5 minutes.
