This is a very acitve game that keeps everyone involved. There are 3 ways to win this game. 1. Students throw gator skin balls at the opposing teams tennis balls to try and knock them off of the cones.(There are 5 tennis balls on top of cones) 2. You may also win by sneaking across and stealing the other teams flag. If tagged by the opposing team they must go to jail. To get out of jail a teammate may make it across safetly and then take them back to their side. 3. The other way to win is to get all of the opposing team in jail or sitting down. To get someone to sit down you have to catch a ball. Each team chooses a magic person before the game begins. The magic person can touch a teammates head that is sitting down to get them back up and into the game. If the magic person is down they stay down until the game is over.

This game is a great variation of dodge ball. It is also great exercise and gives the students more than 1 option to win the game. My kids love it!

I love that this game has the fun of dodge ball, yet has many other roles to play if an individual student doesn't like the "dodge ball" portion of the game. I like that there is a secret person, a jail and a flag to be captured - lots of variety. Sounds like something I would have made up as a kid. Supports teamwork and competition at the same time.
