This is a game that involves teamwork. These students are trying to collect 5 cutout symbols that match the symbol in their hula hoop. They look under 1 poly spot and then report back to their group. Communication is important for finding all symbols.

I play a similiar game called The Big Hunt that is perfect for the Easter Holidays. Spread out as many cones as you have (30 to 35) and hide 3 colored easter eggs under the cones. There should be a total of 12 easter eggs hidden under the cones that are spread out all over the gym. I use 4 equally divided teams (blue, green, yellow, red) and allow them to go one at time and look under only one cone (carefully so that no other team can see) at time. If it matches their team color they bring the egg back and place it in their colored hula hoop Once all three are found than the game is over. To start again I have the students turn around and face the wall so that we can hide them again. I make sure that I change the color of the teams colored eggs so that they have to look for a different egg each time. We have a good time with this game and i hope you will too.

Cute and simple. Perfect for the day or two before a holiday vacation.
