Volleyball

This kindergarten class is having a blast volleying balloons. The object of the lesson is to volley the balloon in the air use different body parts.

I really like the activity. I do similar things with my kindergarteners. What kind of balloons are you using? They seem to fall faster than most, which is great!

I do this lesson with my K-2 kiddos every year and they are always excited to see the balloons. After this lesson I would have them partner up with one balloon to play "keep it up." Also I have them volley with 1/2 a pool noodle to pretend they are baseball, hockey, tennis and golf players.The possibilities are endless! It is a FUN activity. :)
