Frog Toss

Frog Toss is an underhand tossing game. The class is split into relay lines. The first person has a bean bag (frog) that they try to toss in a puddle (hula hoop) or on a lilly pad (poly spot). If the bean bag lands in or on one of those objects then that student gets to pick it up and put it by their team>s cone. Play until all the objects are gone. Have fun!

This looks like a really fun game. Your students look like they are having fun...great job! So is this just an on-going game until all objects are gone or is it like a relay race to see which team has the most objects by their cone when all objects are cleared? LMK.

We normally play the game until all the objects are gone. However, I think the other way would work great as well. Or, if you had different colored objects you could have the first team to get one or two of each color be done first.

Thanks for sharing your game. I'm going to try it with my younger students. I also enjoyed the different versions of how it can be played and the use of different equipment. Great Job!!! Keep on posting.

I do something very similar to this that was also posted! Class is split into pairs around the gym, more movement. But they must hop on one foot to a poly spot and try to make the bean bag into a hoop or milk crate. If they make it in, they pick up the spot and hop back to their partner! Goal is to get as much spots as possible! Thanks for sharing!

Just wanted to let you know I tried this game with 1st- 4th grade and they all absolutely loved it!! Great idea! The only thing I changed was that we used beanie animals instead of beanbags for tossing.
