Hi, I really like this game idea! However, I'm having difficulty figuring out how it'll work with a class of 30 students. Can you share any ideas as to how this game might work with a big class? Thanks!

I've used this game before and with a very large class. We put students around the outside boundary of the basketball court and set the ships up on each side with the pins on the ship. The students threw and rolled the balls at the ships from opposite sides. If you are limited on mats this idea works very well. The first team to knock down all of the pins wins the game. We have also used soft frisbees as well.

I have used scooters. In a large class I have 3 or 4 officers who are able to guard the pins while keeping one foot on the mat and at the same time they can throw and try to knock down the other pins. I have the other 3 students on scooters (lifeboats) moving around collecting the balls for the officers who are on the mat. If a team has all of their pins down they must meet at their ship and switch jobs then they can re-set their pins and continue.
