One great way to prevent kids from standing right in front of the pin is allow kids to cross the line, but if they do they can be tagged. That way you get more movement, the pin guarders then have to move and plus there are more jobs for everybody.

I just played this last week with my kids and for the most part they loved it. My only question is, how do you prevent too many people from standing in front of the last pin on a side? I made a rule for only 1 person to guard a pin, but with that last pin they all want to stand near it and make it almost impossible for someone to hit. Suggestions?
