The youngsters are evenly spread out around the parachute. Tape alternating segements of 30 seconds of music playing and 30 seconds of silence is used. Muscic segments indicate aerobic activity while intervals of silence announce using the parachute to enhance flexibility and strength development. Parachute activities include sliding, jogging, raising the chute, and skipping. Some flexibility and strength include; seat walks, sit ups, stretching, and push up choices.
