Great lead up activity! I play this game with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. The game keeps all participants engaged and motivates them to take quality shots. You can modify difficulty by placing poly spots very close or further away from the rim.

After I saw this video I tried Hot Spotz with my students in two different classes, 7th and 8th. Hot Spotz is a great activity to get full participation from every student. I found students who usually do not engage in activiities did with Hot Spotz. The kids really get competitive on their teams.
