A fun activity for grades 1- 5. This game can be adapted easily to incorporate various sport skills and also classroom academic concepts. All of my kids love this game!

Simple, but yet quite effective. I like the chunking idea.

Great idea. A couple of alternative ways to play game could be to bring numbers back and the students have to use numbers to come up with a predetermined number, for example; the predetermined number is 234. The students collect 10 numbers and then use then by adding multiplying etc. and come up with a number of 234. Another alternative is to put a tray of items at one end of the gym and have students in teams run up one at a time and look at tray and run back and write down what they see. The more items the harder it becomes. Items can be on a theme or random that you find around office. At the end of a certain time, students give you list and winner is most items listed, reward accordingly.
