Very Fun! Thanks for sharing. Now I just got to figure out how to play it with 80 kids! LOL Thanks a Bunch for the game.

I know it cropped half of my head off... Shannon, if you have 48 hula-hoops you could make 8 sections in a pizza layout, with the houses towards the crust. I have done this successfully with grades 3-11!

Drew, This game is AWESOME!!! I was so excited about it when I saw it this morning, I ditched my plans for the day and tried it out. My students LOVE it. I didn't see your post in time about a pizza layout, but I modified it into 8 sections that works for our gym. I added a student with a jersey, who is the designated ball retriever for their team. They are the only ones allowed to leave their section. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I think we have a winner!

Andrew - I like the activity and the modifications. I think it would be fun to have the targets (hoop houses) in designated areas where students would try to hit them from any angle. This would also mean students would then rotate to different houses, so one group doesn't have an advantage over the others. Let me know what you think.

I'm super bummed this activity didn't make the cut, I was looking forward to voting for it! It's still by far my new favorite game!!!

I'm likin' this one... I've been having students run one lap when their house falls, and we build the houses without the roof so that they fall easier.

THIS is our school's favorite game! We renamed it "Bringing Down The House". The kids also get a 5 second countdown immediately after their house is rebuilt to get blockers back in place. This helps them stay in the game a little longer before a house is knocked down again. LOVE this game! They request it ALL the time. Have played with 2 through 6th grade.
