Two teams compete against each other, using over hand throws to knock down the other teams goals (tennis ball placed on top of a medium cone). There are three positions used in the game: Attacker (front row), Goalie (middle row) & Catcher (back row). Attackers use an overhand throws to try and knock down the other team’s goals. They are the only players on their team that can score. The goalies guard the goals and pass balls forward to attackers. Goalies are the only players on their team who can protect the goal, attackers my not play defense. Catchers must stay behind the goalies and gather in balls missed by goalies. Catchers then pass them up to attackers. Attackers are out if a goal, or catcher, catches one of their throws in the air (no bounce). Goalies are out if they drop, or block an opposing attackers throw that is in the air (no bounce). Once a student is out he/she must come to the teacher and answer a question. Students create flash cards to bring to P.E. once they have finished a unit
