created PE March Madness
I came up with 64 activities that I do throughout the school year in my PE classes and created my own PE version of March Madness.  I then rated them myself and gave each activity a seeding.  The large bracket is posted on my bulletin board and starting next week my 4th and 5th grade classes will vote on each of the matchups and whoever receives the most votes will move on.  It has already created a little buzz for the kids and the staff members.  I also do a contest with the staff with the real basketball bracket and the teacher who picks the most correct teams earns an extra prep. So I'm only out 1 of my preps during the week, but it is a great moral boost for this time of year.

This is an obstacle course that I do each year around Thanksgiving. It can be adapted to the equipment you have within your program.  We start off the class with me reading the book to them.

Quick fix? No, but I like the draino idea!  I normally use an exacto knife and then some tweezers to pull loose the debris, and then a little shot of W-D.

This is a quick little test that is given to the 5th graders in the district I work at. It is given to them in the Spring time right after we have concluded all of the physical tests. Does anyone else do a written test?
