Description

I am looking for some new ideas to introduce cooperation/teamwork as a total class activity for my students at the beginning of the year.  Anyone have any good ideas?

Coffee Can Pass/Pig Pass- Use a coffee can or a rubber pig.  Kids sit in a circle.  First they must pass the pig around the circle w/o it touching the floor. Each round theyuse a different body part to pass the pig 1) hands 2) forearms 3) elbows 4) feet.  In each round if the pig touches the ground, they must start over.  But if they complete around, then they use a different body part.  Each round select a topic that the students must say when they get the pig such as their name, fav. sport, pets?, etc.  This is my first activity I do with the students.  Gomore, just email me eklindblom@gmail.com
